The ACT project Policy Briefs

The ACT project is soon reaching to an end. In order to celebrate the achievements if the project consortium and all Communities of Practice, a Synthesis Event was organised on September 30th (https://act-on-gender.eu/act-events/act-synthesis-event-september-30th).

The event gave the opportunity to members of all Communities of Practice to get together for the last time within the life-cycle of the project.

Four roundtables were organised:

i. Gender Budgeting as a means to tackling gender biases in decision-making, ii. Assessing gender equality state-of-play in research and higher education, iii. Reflections on approaches to scale-up and sustain CoPs, iv.
CoP methodology: Reflections by CoP facilitators

STRATEGIES participated in the fourth roundtable and contributed to the discussion that took place on lessons learned through hands-on practice by the ACT Community of Practice facilitators.

Videos of the day will soon be released and links will be provided via the main ACT website ("Events" section).

On the occassion of the Synthesis Event, three policy briefs were released:
i. Gender Budgeting to challenge gender biases in decision-making of RPOs
ii. How to support Communities of Practice for driving institutional change towards gender equality
iii. Reflections on scaling-up Communities of Practice

All briefs can be found here: https://act-on-gender.eu/act-highlights
