Female scientists in Berlin - at universities and in the Academy of Sciences (1946-1990)

STRATEGIES for Sustainable Gender Equality dedicated its two last meetings on the history of Gender Equality Plans in Europe.

The second of these events was dedicated in Germany. The presentation of Emerita Professor Annette Vogt provided a fascinating overview of the history of Gender Equality in Germany via the presentation of portraits of female scientists in Berlin, between 1946 and 1990.

The slides of the presentation can be consulted and are available here. As some of the materials used for the presentation have been removed due to intellectual property rights, this is a slightly different version. Should you be interested in some of these sources, please do contact us so as to put you in contact with Pr. Vogt.
