Strategies for Sustainable Gender Equality organises its 10th get together on zoom, on Tuesday, June 8th, from 9.30 to 11.00 am. In collaboration with the ACT Sister Community of Practice GEinCEE - Gender Equality in Central and Eastern Europe (https://geincee.act-on-gender.eu/) we plan on bringing together the membres of both Communities of Practice for a seminar which will be entirely dedicated on Gender Equality and Gender Equality Plans in Central and Eastern Europe.
Ewelina Ciaputa (GEinCEE CoP Facilitator), Dr Ewa Krzaklewska (researcher in ACT project, local coordinator of ACT project), Dr Paulina Sekuła (GEinCEE CoP Facilitator) and Dr Marta Warat (researcher in ACT project) will present and introduce GEinCEE and its foci of interest to the particants, giving an emphasis on Gender Equality and Gender Equality Plans in Central and Eastern Europe. Pr. Virginija Šidlauskienė representing Šiauliai Academy and Vilnius University will talk on the topic of "Distribution of Structural Change Projects’ in Research Organizations in EU and CEE Countries". This presentation will provide an overview of the main outcomes of 37 EU funded projects between 2010 and 2020, focusing on efforts for instutitionalising gender equality policies through GEPs.
