The first autumn meeting of Strategies for Sustainable Gender Equality will take place on Tuesday, September 28th at 9.30 a.m.
Following the series of lectures which debuted in the late summer, this time we will take a closer look at Gender Equality and Gender Equality plans in Germany, with an emphasis on the history of Gedner Equality and the different influences and traditions in former Eastern and Western Germany.
Emeritus professor Felizitas Sagebiel from Wuppertal University will provide this overview. A second presentation will ve given by Emeritus Professor Annette Vogt who will contribute with a presentation focusing on female scientists in Berlin, both at universities and the Academy of Sciences (1946 to 1990).
After the presentation, we will get the chance to exchange latest news and future collaborations perspectives, following the end of the ACT project, at the end of October 2021.
